Himachal Pradesh – literally means ‘in the lap of Himalayas’ and so it is. Also referred to as Dev Bhoomi (Land of Gods), Himachal Pradesh has many Himalayan Ranges with varying grades of elevation. Hence, there is no dearth of trekking options here with treks ranging from easy grade to expedition level ones.
Whether you are a first timer, an occasional trekker or a hardcore adventurist, Himachal Pradesh will have something suited perfectly for you.
Himachal Pradesh has both Winter & Summer treks
Some of the winter treks are of easy grade in Himachal Pradesh and can be completed by first timers. Others are harder and require some trekking experience. Though that in turn makes them much more beautiful and thrilling.
Many of the summer treks are same as the winter ones sans the snow. These are perfect for beginners, first timers and even the experienced trekkers. With cooler temperatures even in summers, you also get to beat the heat in these beautiful trekking getaways.

Here are some of our treks
Travelling with GoMissing was one of the best decisions I took in my life! Exploring off beat places, getting a glimpse into various cultures and lifestyles was a novel experience for a workaholic like me, who spends 12 to 14 hours teaching bratty bacchas. The best part was to meet people from different walks of life, including our “GoMissing guy” whose excitement and sense of adventure is highly contagious. The friendships that I formed on these trips, have strengthened with time, being outdoors and participating in activities like rappelling, rafting etc rejuvenated me both mentally and physically. Every time I came back from a trip I felt like a brand new person- full of energy and optimism, ready to take on the world! Looking forward to many more interesting trips with you!
I’ve had a great experience with GoMissing and have thoroughly enjoyed my 2 trips with them. They definitely introduce you to offbeat destinations and a side of India that you might not discover by yourself. My trip to the Valley of the Flowers in Uttarakhand was unforgettable – it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to, and every moment of the 14km uphill trek to reach there was worth it! Our campsite was also fantastic – an amazing view from our tent, delicious food, and a great group of people to share the experience with. I would certainly recommend GoMissing if you’re interested in getting off the beaten track and experiencing Indian culture, nature and hospitality at its best.
The experience is difficult to put in words, in short- “it was truly magical”. The trip was very well planned with everything taken care of. All one needed to do was just be there and be open to adventure and meeting new people. Would definitely recommend to first timers and experienced trekkers.
