Pic of the day – Trekking @ Yosemite national park

During a recent trip to the US, I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to Yosemite national park thanks to a great bunch of friends : )

The following set of pics were clicked during the trek to Nevada Falls in Yosemite national park. The first one was clicked while trekking to the top, the second one is from the top looking down into the valley, and the thrid one is of the river at the top.
The one absolutely amazing shot that I missed was of the rainbow right in the middle of the falls when the sun came out for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, I was too close to the falls and was getting drenched (bad idea to get the camera out in such conditions). Hopefully… next time : )
